Hello! Our names are Keith & Ruth Patterson and we live in London, England. We thought you might be interested in our family history and also in some information about where we and some of our ancestors lived. If you are, please do read on.
Keith is a Londoner born and bred. His ancestors have lived in what is now the Greater London area for at least the last 100 years and some considerably longer than that.
Ruth is a Hampshire girl. Nearly all of her ancestors came from Hampshire or just over the border from surrounding counties with the exception of one of her 2x great grandmothers who originated from Lancashire. We have still to research her ancestry.

The Bevis Family. This is about Ruth's ancestors - Bevis was her surname before marriage. You will find the following surnames - Alderman, Beale, Bevis, Booth, Collins, Gregory, Harris, Hendley, Hillier, Hindley, Lanham, Ireland, Maryfield & White.
London Notes. This section gives details about Middlesex, Ealing where the Patterson family has lived for over 125 years and other general information about London. You will find listed details of record offices, libraries and other family history sources in the London area which we think are useful to the family history researcher.
Hampshire Notes. This section is still being developed. We have listed information about the various record offices and also a brief history of Hampshire. It is our intention to add details about Goodworth Clatford where the Bevis family has lived for around 200 years.
Family Tree. This contains, as the name suggests, a family tree generated by our family history software programme Generations. You will find brief details of all the individuals which we have located in our research.
